I just finished reading: “So you don’t want to go to church anymore” by Wayne Jacobsen and Dave Coleman. It’s a fictional account of a pastor and someone who could pass for one of the original 12 disciples.

It is a parable, and I am quite certain one that many people will relate to.

In the end I am persuaded that this is inspired by God. It does relay an important possibility about the current status of the global spiritual climate. Most of all, I believe it represents exactly one of the wineskins I have mentioned so often in previous blogs. The core idea is very possibly a move of God for today’s generation. Even though it dates back to Jesus himself.

I will refrain from adding my direct thoughts on the actual idea itself. As the book points out on page 153. Truth has its time.

Both my thumbs up!
